Employment Opportunities

The Governors of St John Fisher Catholic School have a compelling vision for the future – one that is shared by the Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark. Our ambition is twofold: to see students gain excellent qualifications and also grow as confident and compassionate citizens, who have developed thoughtfully within a Christian ethos.

St John Fisher Catholic School, in Medway caters for all abilities and is proud of its strong and vibrant Christian ethos. The school is voluntary aided, within a selective unitary authority and falls under the guidance of the Education Commission of the Archdiocese of Southwark.

In the 2012 summer exam results, 44% of students gained five good GCSEs, including English and mathematics demonstrating a 3 year improvement trend, and our A level results were the best we have ever achieved. In July 2011, a full inspection of Ofsted concluded that St John Fisher School, although satisfactory overall, had significant good features, including leadership, behaviour and students’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced CRB check.
